Partnerships
Over 7 years, I've built experience working and developing relationships with several brands, sponsors, and community partners. From managing deliverables and creating recap KPI reports, to coordinating activations, signage, and content creation, to partner relations and communications, I understand all aspects of how to manage partnership accounts and build meaningful, lasting relationships through positive and impactful experiences.
Managing Deliverables for John Deere Partnership
Role: Business Development, Communications, and Marketing Manager at Legends Global (Los Angeles Equestrian Center)
John Deere's partnership with the Los Angeles Equestrian Center includes: permanent ceiling flags in the Equidome Arena, naming rights to the White Barn in the horse show area, a yearly leased tractor for daily use at the equestrian center, social posts, email campaigns, print & signage, website & front sign listings, and activation space at horse shows and events. In my role assisting the Executive Director in ensuring all deliverables are met, I attend meetings with partner reps, create all social & email content, assist with activations (securing the space, ordering & picking up materials, collaborating on ideas/strategies for effective activations), design signage, and organize special digital activations like raffles for our boarder/trainer community.
Brand Activations with Selkirk & PickleballCentral at Super Bowl 2023
Role: Marketing Director at RG Sports Academy
In 2023, the Velocity Pickleball team was invited to the Super Bowl for a wellness event with the NFL Alumni Association. Collaborating with our pickleball director on the footprint, I designed all signs, including directional A frames, print flyers, vinyl banners, outdoor banner stands, and branded pop-up banners to block balls on the pickleball court. We worked with Selkirk and PickleballCentral throughout the event; they provided paddles and balls, activated with apparel and equipment booths in the gym during our tournament and clinics, created video content for YouTube, and worked with us to set up an exhibition game between NBA and NFL alumni and two Selkirk-sponsored pickleball athletes.
Event & Digital Activations with Postmates
Role: Business Development, Communications, and Marketing Manager at Legends Global (Los Angeles Equestrian Center)
At the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, we often work with Postmates for one-off event or digital activations. At the end of last year, Postmates gave us a discount code specifically for our equestrian community, so we set up signage on property and sent out multiple email blasts to our boarders and trainers (500+). At Equestfest 2025, a Rose Parade equestrian event that drew 3000 attendees, Postmates set up a booth activation where they collaborated with our Food & Beverage team to give away free mini-burritos if they downloaded the Postmates app via QR code. For these activations, I met with reps to collaborate on ideas for the activation, created & sent out the discount code emails to boarders/trainers, managed sign placement, secured the space prior to the event, attended & checked in during the event, and recapped results with the Postmates rep.
Collaborating with Community Partners
Role: Business Development, Communications, and Marketing Manager at Legends Global (Los Angeles Equestrian Center)
The Los Angeles Equestrian Center is actually owned by the city of LA as a part of Griffith Park, while being day-to-day managed by Legends Global. This means we often work with community partners like the LA Parks Foundation, MySafe:LA, Visit Burbank, Burbank Chamber of Commerce, and more. For these partnerships, I work with reps directly to collaborate on social posts, emails, and other marketing materials. I've built marketing campaigns in collaboration with LA Parks Foundation to draw in donations for both the foundation and the equestrian center. We often invite members of these organizations and city board members to attend events, so I've managed invitations as well as taking care of VIP guests throughout the event.
Assisting with Sponsorship Deliverables
Role: Marketing Director at RG Sports Academy
As a high-traffic, multi-sport facility with 6 basketball courts, 8 volleyball courts, and 18 pickleball courts, RG Sports Academy works with a number of sponsors, including hotels and local businesses and franchises. Sponsorships often included wall banners, website listings, social posts, sponsor slides on our TV screens, and event activations. I assisted our sponsorships director in creating and designing materials for most of these deliverables, as well as listing each sponsor on our website.
