Velocity Pickleball

Role: Marketing Director at RG Sports Academy

One of Velocity Pickleball's unique selling points is the style of teaching by one of the founders, a former tennis player and pro tennis coach adapting the speed and style of tennis to the game of pickleball. Members do not just get access to open play, they also get discounted access to skills clinics, helping them level up their game consistently beyond open play. With these points in mind, I created the tagline "Fast-Track Your Game," communicating both the new style and pace that would be taught, as well as the developmental opportunities not yet offered anywhere else in the area. The red and black colors communicate a sense of urgency, boldness, and competitiveness, standing out from the usual brand colors of green and blue. I designed a full website, wrote all marketing copy, and designed all marketing materials and signage, including vinyl banners, print flyers, court maps, rules & guideline posters, merch, email and social templates, social media ads, and more.

Freelance Project

This is a current project I'm working on for a massage therapist starting a new business based in Chicago. I've worked with her to develop her brand name, colors, messaging, and logo. I am currently in the process of building her website, as well as consulting on initial marketing strategies such as community outreach, setting up massage stations at events, and networking with local chambers of commerce. We are building her brand to be deeply inspired by her personal story, as a former college athlete dealing with injuries, high stress, and skin sensitivity, and spotlighting her specialized experience in prenatal, postnatal, and fertility massage therapy.
